I love these for so many reasons. Mostly because Joe is scared of them.
I totally know how you feel man. The more guy-ish I look, I get a bit more confused. It’s cool to be a “tough chick”, but when you cross more into “dude” territory… Sometimes I feel as though I’m wronging the name of woman and feminism and everything awesome and good in the world! Being trans is no easy life! We can do it though . But hey, cis-guys are born male! And they can’t help it! So are people like us (born this way–trans, that is)! Anyways, I getcha’ is all.
You are you. Simple. You are male, fact. You have emphasised male traits. Thus you are manly. Too many words these days contain stigma and bias that are unneeded. Even bias has bias – as if detachment is a good thing.
Anyways, you are special because you are you. If manly is a word that describes you – ignore modern word bias.
I.. say I’m manly ^_^ and it could just be thought of a confidence boost o.o or stating the facts xD
Aww.. I totally have that dilemma!
Yeah, I realized that as I started being read as a guy more often, I made women nervous walking too close behind them (which was ok when they read me as a girl); it made me feel sad. I don’t want to be seen as a scary man. It makes me think about this kind of stuff a lot.
