So it turns out that Bobs, and us, are quite old. Bobs is very healthy, though, apart from potentially drinking too much water (we’re measuring it at the moment to figure it out but hopefully it’s all good).

If you can afford it, get Bob’s kidneys and glucose checked. Excessive thirst can be a sign of both kidney failure and diabetes. Both of those diseases are extremely manageable but it’s best if you can catch them early!
Yes! That’s what we’re checking her water for – really hoping it’s not kidney failure… or diabetes for that matter. We’re taking her back for the Elderly Cat Package in two weeks, and to get a flea booster, and we’ll take in our recordings of her drinking too. Glad to hear that they’re manageable if we catch them early – that is very reassuring
