Oooph. All this stuff is hard, but I’m super grateful to my friends and family who’ve been super supportive and kind and lovely, and generous to my mixed-up-ness.
In other news – it’s Pride month(s) in New Zealand and there’s heaps of amazing stuff happening. I’ve been in charge of putting together the programme for the Same Same But Different rainbow writers festival this year, and I’m really excited about how many amazing writers we’ve got, and the interesting conversations we’re gonna have. If you’re in Auckland please, please come along. It’s going to be incredible.
I’m also hosting Sophie Labelle, who does the amazing Assigned Male comics, in two events – one in Auckland this Sunday and one in Wellington on Tuesday- so, yeah, come along!!
