So, apologies for the missed comic – I didn’t get my crap together in time for Easter and Joe’s arrival (10 whooole days!!). In the mean time, my new flatmate up here gave me good motivation for finding a job.

Eyebrows are lowered slightly and pushed together, mouth is open with very slightly downturned edges. One arm is bent forward at the elbow, palm facing the viewer, fingers bent over a little.) How many jobs have you applied for?

Joe: (A person wearing a pink neckerchief, a purple shirt, a pale grey cardigan and dark trousers, who is facing the viewer, but looking up and to the side. One eyebrow is raised the other lowered, and mouth is open with very slightly downturned edges. There is a word above Joe’s head, which reads ‘*sigh*’.) Here he goes again…

Sam: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam’s flatmate and Joe. Mouth is open, with upturned edges and shoulders are raised. Arms are bent up at the elbows and hands are open, palms up.) Uh none. Heh

Sam’s Flatmate: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are lowered and pushed together slightly, mouth is open, and arms are crossed across chest.) Matey, I’ll tell you what – for every job you apply for you get five minutes of complaint time. No applications means no complaining.

Joe: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are raised and mouth is closed, with upturned edges. One arm is looped through Sam’s flatmate’s.)

Panel 3:

Joe: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are raised and mouth is open, with upturned edges. One arm is bent out at the elbow, its hand on Joe’s hip. The other arm is raised at the shoulder, and is against Sam’s flatmate’s back. There are a couple of parallel lines next to this arm, which indicate movement.) You may be a genius.

Sam’s Flatmate: (A person who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are raised and mouth is open, with upturned edges. Arms are crossed across chest.) Just your regular, old strengths based approach.

Sam: (A person who is facing the viewer, but is sitting down and looking at a laptop screen. Eyebrows are pushed together, mouth is closed and shoulders are hunched. Arms are bent forward at the elbows and fingers are on the laptop’s keys. There are a few sets of parallel lines above Sam’s fingers, which indicate movement, alongside the words:) Tappa tappa tap tappa
