So yeh – Pink Shirt Day is a thing that I have feeeeeeeelings about.
Here’s a little article about our thing in Dunedin (I’m trying to find the news video I did for it, which I will link when I find it). And the letter writing campaign.
And an article from last year about how it’s “still” about queer and trans folks. Obviously not all christians are homophobic, but a few years ago one of the main organisations that was supporting the event was a really homophobic youth based education organisation which seemed super dumb.
