Panel 1:
Sam: (A person wearing a white, collared shirt, a navy blue waistcoat, a red tie, and navy blue trousers, who is facing the viewer, but looking at Joe. Eyebrows are lowered slightly and pushed together, and mouth is open. One palm is against Sam’s tummy, the other hand is scrunched up a little against Sam’s chest.) Do I look ok? Do you think I’ll overheat? It’s quite sunny. Am I overdressed? I don’t want to sweat everywhere.
Joe: (A person wearing a purple, collared shirt, and black trousers, who is facing the viewer, but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are raised, and mouth is open. One hand is on Sam’s upper back, and the other is on Sam’s upper chest.) Sam, it’s ok.

Panel 2:
Joe: (A person who is both facing and looking at the viewer, with raised eyebrows and an open mouth, which has very upturned edges. One arm is bent forward at the elbow, fingers are closed in, and thumb sticking up. The other hand is holding Sam’s.) OMG! Queer Wedding! I’m so excited!

Sam: (A person who is facing the viewer but looking at Joe, with raised eyebrows and an open mouth, which has very upturned edges. One arm is holding a gift, which is wrapped in purple with a pink bow, to Sam’s side, and the other hand is holding Joe’s.) YAY!!

Panel 3:
Joe: (A person who is sitting on a chair and facing the viewer. Lower eyelids are raised, and mouth is open, with upturned edges. Both hands are together in Joe’s lap, and next to Joe’s head “*sniff*” is written.) So beautiful…
Sam: (A person who is sitting on a chair and facing the viewer. Eyebrows are raised slightly, and mouth is closed, with upturned edges. Hands are holding the sides of Sam’s chair.) Yeh.
Celebrant: And do you promise to try and grow together & individually with love & respect?
(There are people sitting in chairs to either side of Joe and Sam, as well as an indistinct crowd behind them.)

Panel 4:
Joe: (A person who is sitting on a chair, facing the viewer but looking at Sam. Eyebrows are raised and pushed together slightly, and there are tears in Joe’s eyes. Mouth is open, with upturned edges, one hand is in Joe’s lap, and the other is holding Sam’s.) *You ok love?*
Sam: (A person who is sitting on a chair, facing the viewer, but looking at Joe. Eyebrows are raised and pushed together slightly, and there are tears in Sam’s eyes. Mouth is open, with upturned edges, one hand is holding the side of Sam’s chair, and the other is holding Joe’s.) *Yea, just sweaty eyeballs.*
