I’ve been watching them give Joe shots for over a year, so I had a pretty good idea of how to do it. It makes it heaps more freeing to be able to do it ourselves tho. I’m quite proud of the Joe-butt too!
This is pretty much exactly how I felt the first time I did my partner’s injection. It got easier with time, you’ll be glad to know, but my hand was still definitely shaky for the first half a dozen times. The thing that I found the most helpful was when I started doing my own about three months ago – suddenly it was heaps easier and less scary to do his!

Ha, when my Boyfriend was getting his first T-shot I think I was way more scared then him. I kept telling the person ”DON’T JAB HIM TOO HARD, HE HAS A SOFT BUTT”.
Nice! I’m surprised the doctor/nurse/medical supervising person let you do that! I bet you did a good job though

Yes! I think Joe was way more relaxed than I was, but yes, it did go very well in the end!
