I have pectus excavatum, which I never think about unless I want to go swimming, and then I feel too self-conscious to swim. It doesn’t help that I have literally never seen anyone who looks like me represented in any media.
We’re going for a trip to Rarotonga in May, hopefully I have some courage to go swimming by then.
