For those that don’t know of Brian Tamaki, he’s a self-proclaimed ‘Bishop’ of a fundamentalist church called ‘Destiny Church’, who preach about anti-gay stuff ALL. THE. TIME. Israel Folau is a rugby player who plays for Australia, who recently commented that gay people are going to hell unless they repent, and his wife (who plays netball for New Zealand) seemingly agreed. It was pretty yuck, particularly for our MVPFAFF/LGBTIA pacific people.
I’m constantly in awe how you persevere and draw your comics. You write so candidly, so heartfelt, and sometimes… so sad.
I’m so torn, I’m morally against celebrating the demise of people I don’t like, on the other hand… party hats, I mean just to acknowledge the poetic justice?
