So, gosh, yes it seems like I’m going to stay here for a bit. I’m gonna postpone my South Island trip, because I have some meetings and whatnot that I need to be in the North Island for – but never fear I’ll be there later in the year! Things are weird and hard, and also kinda – ok and good??

I had lunch with Kirsty yesterday and she mentioned you might be staying in Wellington for a while – so glad you’ve found a city that feels like it could be home!
The offer of coffee is still open if you ever make it to Christchurch though.
Can confirm, Welly is very anxiety inducing. Takes a month or two to calm down, but it does happen! <3

I’m originally from California, but when I was a teen, I dumped my savings and everything I had to visit NZ. I had a wonderful time exploring Wellington in mid-winter. Always wished I could have stayed. It felt more like home than anywhere else I’d been.
It seems like all the cool people end up in wellington!! all my friends seem to move there … im gonna end up moving there myself i can feel it
