I feel pretty lucky (privileged and grateful for some major generosity) about having stable housing, and to be able to afford to live alone – I thought I’d hit to jackpot finding a place that’s Earthquake friendly(ish), and not going under water any time soon (hopefully), as well as being close to work and just, well, lovely to live in. Hill slips weren’t even on my radar as something to worry about – but here we are! (I’m not actually that worried about them, but every time I look at the back fence I’m like… ‘Hmmmm’.
Hopefully they’re not sliding into my house any time soon.
